sNOw problem for the iCandy Peach Stroller

So I’ve had the iCandy Peach Stroller for 6 months now and I have to say I think I’ve made it work hard over the last couple of months.

My daughter who just turned one loves this pram; she even has all her naps in it.  She is a reflux baby so being upright prevents her being sick as much.  She is able to sleep in the pram in the sitting up position without her head dropping forward.  Unfortunately my little girl has been very poorly lately and as a result has been vomiting a lot – in turn my poor iCandy has been covered in vomit! YUK indeed!  Thank goodness the cosytoes is washable.  It has been in the wash at least 5 times in the last few weeks.  Not only does it wash up nicely it also keeps its shape. Phew!  I also had to use soapy water to clean the harness straps.

Before all the sickness we had our fair bit of snow.  As soon as I woke up I knew I had to test my iCandy Peach Stroller in the snow.  I wanted to try it in the thick snow that was untouched (yes I’m a big kid).  So at 7:30am there we are playing in the snow.  We even walked to the shop to test it.  All I can say is WELL DONE ICANDY! I had no problems whatsoever; in fact it glided so easily that I had forgotten to even lock the front wheels.   Maybe if the snow was a few inches thicker I may have needed to lock the wheels but for the 3 inches we had it passed the test with ease. I also have to mention that the Tomato colour stood out in the snow and looked stunning.

My new admiration for my iCandy Peach Stroller is how it copes with extra weight.  My daughter is now a healthy 11.86kg and even though is she is quite heavy the iCandy Peach Stroller doesn’t feel any different.  It still glides and can turn 360 degrees with one hand.  The only thing I have noticed is that the bigger my daughter gets it is harder for me to carry the chassis (or seat part) together with my daughter, but then I do live on the first floor with no lift so even carrying shopping can even be a nuisance.

All in all I’m very happy with my iCandy Peach Stroller the only thing I would change if I could right now would be to have a child tray instead of bumper bar but that’s only because my daughter is at the age where she likes to snack on the go.
